MY PERSONAL RESPONSE
STIMULUS: "Some human activities are really harmful on the environment and are causing the global warming. As inhabitants of this planets, human beings should be forced to replace our environmental-harmful activities or don´t harm the environment on our benefit at all."
My personal response:
I agree with the environmentalist´s position because she says that we need to do something immediately to preserve our environment and is not such a good idea using the sources that the nature gives us, only for our benefit . we must know the we are harming our home doing that.
Its well known that ,Our world is facing a serius issue which is water pollution. It is a consecuece of the accidental oil leakage that also can bring a problem for aquatic life.
Besides , farmers use chemical fertilizers and pesticides to protect crops from insects and bacterias but in most of cases , those are mixed up with water, producing harmful for the animals and plants.
In addition to that, the urbanization can cause pollution, because people move into the cities that produce physical disturbance of land due to construction of houses, mines, industries and etc.
To exemplify, acording to "Rand Water" in its page, the energy in South Africa comes from the burning of cal at power situations and it proves the increased emissions of toxic gases like sulphur and nitrogen axides into the atmosphera that are the principle cause of acid rain.
That´s why, Im convinced that Its correct to use wisely the sources which provides our mother nature. . There are many human activities that benefit with a lot amounto of money eventough That activities are harming the environment. Nowadays, people is not taking care of the planet so we have to change it and promote green actions.

I agree with you, Lorena. I believe that you have a great point of view and it is necessary to promote the green actions. Thus could take care our environment because this is our home. We can't go unnoticed all to is happens in the world.
